Responsibilities:
- Research the translation/localization market segment to develop a strategic marketing plan and oversee the plan execution
- Seek, investigate and develop new business opportunities based on relationship marketing principles
- Develop new business programs, research viable new business relationships, manage projects from definition to execution phase
- Identify, negotiate and manage strategic relationships with content and technology partners, including other small business language service providers
- Participate with proposal team - writing assignment (executive summary, etc.)
- Provide support to upper management in negotiations, contract development, due diligence, and other business or alliance development projects
- Activities will include telephone and conference calls, meeting attendance, and participation in other promotional events/activities
Education/Experience and Requirements:
- Minimum Associate Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance or related experience
- Successful record of achievement in business development activities, demonstrating experience in: (a) developing new business, new markets and programs; (b) customer acquisition; (c) developing and nurturing alliances
- “People-oriented” personality with the ability to establish/maintain client relationships and access their requirements
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and oral) with ability to influence others
- Ability to ask relevant questions, process information, and make appropriate decisions
- Strong managerial, communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision in small office setting and off-site
- Professional, reliable, hard working team player
HOURS: Full-time (40 hours/week)
