Our localization process is standard and we make no secrets about how we achieve our premium quality.
First of all, we avoid taking assignments with ridiculous deadlines, but if we do, and the customer fully understands the
consequences - RusLoc's Quality Guarantee does not apply. We don't
hire localizers with less than five years of practical experience in the IT-related fields, and we don't work with "lone wolves", those who
like to stay in vacuum, don't ask any questions, and think that they know everything. We resolve all ambiguities in
source files by putting translators and customers in direct contact and by constantly monitoring their work progress.
In our daily work we are using the Localization Industry Standards Association (LISA) Quality Assurance Model (the latest release). Quality Assurance is an ongoing process and it should not happen just at the end of a project. The process developed at RusLoc®, Ltd intergrates QA from the onset of every localization project. Even though the LISA QA Model was developed with localization in mind, it suits us perfectly for regular translation projects. The greatest advantage of using this process is in the reduction of time spent on final reviews, and in the increased consistency of the translated materials.
